Love to cook, or know someone who does?  Any mill can grind pepper corns. But if you're into cooking nothing says "gourmet" like a hand turned solid wood pepper mill.  Our mills are turned from a single piece of wood - no laminates.  The "blank" (raw wood) is carefully selected for grain and color to make only the most beautiful and unique pepper mills.  No two are ever alike.  

At right is a 14" mill turned from "spalted" oak (spalting is a natural process of the beginning stages of decomposition where fungus just begins to attack the wood, leaving beautiful, random patterns in the grain)

Please note - not all of our mills are spalted, but all are beautiful.

Our mills are finished with multiple applications of polyurethane and are then buffed and waxed with Carnuba to create a durable finish able to withstand the rigors of kitchen life..
